Coronavirus Policy *Updated 3/9/2021
First, thank you to all our wonderful clients. You have all been so patient and wonderful as we all navigate this awkward and, frankly, scary situation. We still ask all clients to help us prolong our ability to treat patients and ensure the health of our staff and clients to please avoid the clinic if you meet any of the following criteria:
If you meet any of those, but feel your pet needs to be seen, we ask you to arrange for a friend or family member who does not meet any of the above criteria to bring your pet in. If this can't be arranged, please let us know when you schedule your appointment and we will work with you to ensure your pet is seen while protecting our staff from potential infection. After you schedule your appointment, you can read our article on What To Expect at Your Curbside Appointment.
In order to keep everyone safe, we will continue curbside service and ask our clients to wear masks when interacting face-to-face with staff. Please ask as many of your questions on the phone as you can. We know the minute you hang up is when everyone comes up with the most important question; please don't hesitate to ask when we come out to the car. We will continue to wear masks and use sanitation protocols per CDC and AVMA recommendations. We also ask for all pets to be properly restrained with either a carrier or a leash to make the transition from your car to the clinic as safe as possible.
We do ask you to use good judgement when assessing whether your pet needs to be seen right away. We're trying to see everyone as quickly as possible, but with our current restrictions, it is not always possible to get pets in same day. While we never want to send people to the emergency hospital, our capacity for emergency appointments and care have been diminished. We'll try to triage each situation as much as possible and give the best advice for your pet on how to move forward.
We also recently launched our very own online pharmacy! Click button below and register today. You can request medication refills, as well as heart worm and flea/tick prevention. Take advantage of the "Easy Dose It" program and you will never have to remember to give your pet their prevention because a single dose will arrive in the mail every month! Couldn't be easier! If you have questions or trouble registering, please call the clinic at (734)929-4071.
